Holy, holy, holy God, in calling forth creation from the void, revealing yourself in human flesh, and pouring forth your wisdom to guide us, you manifest your concern for your whole universe. You invite us, as your people, to gather the world’s needs into our hearts
and bring them before you.
A brief silence.
Faithful God, increase our trust in your promises and move your church towards acts of love and faith. Hear us, O God. Your mercy is great.
God above, bless the land and all that is on it; watch over farmers and laborers as they undertake the crucial work of harvest, keep them safe and grant them endurance. Hear us, O God. Your mercy is great.
Lord of all, grant insight and wisdom to all of our civil leaders, help them to see your vision for the world and for the good of all. Hear us, O God. Your mercy is great.
God of sacrificial love, help us to see your creative and redeeming work in the world and draw us into better and deeper relationship with you and with our neighbors. Hear us, O God. Your mercy is great.
